Charlotte Pet Expo

Park Expo Center, Charlotte, NC
The Charlotte Pet Expo has an average of 135 exhibitors, live entertainment, education and demonstrations, a mega-adoption area with more than 250 rescue pets available for adoption, low-cost immunizations, discounted microchipping, free nail trims for all the furry friends who need them and more. It is indoors, free to the public and all well-behaved pets are welcome with proof of age-appropriate immunizations.

Whether running, walking or rolling this race is for you (and furry family members)! The race will begin and end on the corner of Lewisville Vienna Road and Shallowford Road with registration and activities occurring along Great Wagon Road, behind The Coffee Mill. 100% of the proceeds benefit Forsyth Humane Society.

Presented by The Sergei Foundation as a fundraising event to provide veterinary financial assistance to families unable to afford emergency, life-saving care. The events showcase dogs running, jumping, diving and retrieving in a variety of competitions. Dachshund Doggie Daches begin each day at noon.

Coon Dog Day Festival

The festivities kick off early at 8 a.m. on Main Street with a 5K race. Live music and vendors start at 9 a.m. The parade begins at 11 a.m. with homemade floats, fire trucks, antique tractors, classic cars, Coon Dog Day King and Queen and plenty of coon dogs.
